concerts
The SLO Master Chorale takes pride in performing for the public major works for chorus and orchestra. There are three concerts each season, two of which accompany “Beyond the Notes” educational presentations by nationwide scholars, enriching the works performed by the Chorale and its performers, audience, and community. All concerts are given in Harold Miossi Hall at the San Luis Obispo Performing Arts Center on the Cal Poly campus. A history of the SLO Master Chorale’s previous concerts can be viewed here.
rehearsals
It’s fun to be a member of the SLO Master Chorale! Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings in Pismo Beach from October through April. Choir members hale from various artistic backgrounds, experience levels, and demographics. Music Director Thomas Davies instructs the musical growth and development of the Chorale members and the education of young singers about the art and opportunity of choral ensemble singing. His leadership is backed by excellence and extensive records of accomplishment, complete with a personal and authentic touch.

San Luis Obispo Master Chorale is a vibrant, mixed-voice chorus of 100+ singers, which has quickly garnered a reputation for vocal excellence and distinctive programming.
